Alex Kummerman
Alex is CEO of Clicmobile. He is responsible for the business strategy
and operations of the company, as well as overseeing IT development.
Alex is also the author of the core program code and architecture builder
for the Clicmobile interconnectivity software suite.
Since the creation of his first award-wining interactive CD in 1993,
Alex has been at the forefront of multimedia development.
Prior to founding Clicmobile in 2003, Alex co-founded and served as
CTO for the New York-based company Oversampling, which offers interactive
and innovative city tours via a mobile or an MP3 player. Oversampling’s
star product “Soundwalk” won the 2005 Dalton Pen Award and the 2005
Audio File Award.
Alex also co-founded and acted as chief operations officer for Absolut
Media, the award-winning French Web designer startup. His guidance helped
ensure the successful purchase of Absolut Media by Euro RSCG in 2000.
Alex has also been a multimedia consultant for major companies such
as Sony CSL, AFAA and Havas. Alex is also a commentator on the developing
Mobile Social Software (MoSoSo) industry. In October 2005, he organized
the first Clicmobile European MoSoSo Round Table in Geneva, an event
attended by Yahoo! Orange and Sony. He is the founder of the Mobile
Monday Geneva chapter.
Alex brings over 13 years of mobile telecommunication expertise and successful management to Clicmobile.
Alex holds a bachelor of art degree in cinema studies from the New York University Graduate School of Arts & Science.
Samir Addamine
Samir is co-founder of Clicmobile, head of business development and
marketing.
Samir held several senior sales and business development positions in high-tech companies.
Prior to founding Clicmobile in 2003, Samir was business development
director for the Swedish e-business Framfab, one of Europe’s most distinguished
Internet consulting firms. Samir has a track record in helping leading
organizations to market and deliver bottom line results in CRM/ecommerce
interactive solutions. He was consultant and account coordinator for
Absolut Media, where he worked with key clients Gaz de France, Groupe
Moniteur and Sofinco.
In 2003, Samir was recruited by the European Union IST (Information
Society Technologies) as a consultant for its Medressa II program, which
aims at increasing IT activities in Mediterranean countries.
Samir brings over 10 years of experience in business development and
marketing to Clicmobile.
Samir holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering
from The University of Technology of Belfort Montbéliard (France), and
a master degree in marketing and sales from Negocia Business School
(Paris).

Robert Genillard
Robert has been working in communication and production of music and
audiovisual creations for the last 10 years
Robert worked with Ogilvy New York and Ogilvy Europe before making an active contribution to the audiovisual productions of Switzerland's AMATA production company. Specializing in the production of multimedia animations, films and video-clips, he brings Clicmobile his knowledge of the world of production companies and is actively participating in the ongoing convergence between media producers and mobile phone operators.

The strategic thinking of the management is backed by a committee of experts in fields such as the media, interactive television, mobile telephony and basic research.
Sylvain Morgaine. Media Engineering Manager, Arena media communications (Havas)
Prior Being Named head of research at Arena media comminicaitons ( Haves ) Sylvain was named General Manager of Arena in Jan 2006, a media agency part of the Media Planning Group network (HAVAS) leaving his three year position as Marketing and Innovation director for MPG France. In late 1999, Sylvain co-founded Eligmedia, an internet production company specialized in online marketing campaigns where he held the position of CTO for three years Before that Sylvain Founded Metalogic a start-up involved with numerous interactive projects leading to the design concept and patent of RedFinger, a user-interface device linking physical objects to computer applications via infrared communication. Prior this that, Sylvain joined Public Technologies, a Canadian start-up company in Montreal, as their senior interface designer. Projects included Government contracts as well as interface design consulting for Interactive Television shows and services. Sylvain received a M.S. degree in Visual Studies from the M.I.T Media Laboratory where his research focused on multimedia information design and a B.A. in Computer Science including an independent concentration in Visual Studies from Boston University in 1985.
Jesus Martin Garcia
Jesús has a MS in Economics and a Lic Iur from University of Geneva, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He started a consulting career at McKinsey & Co. focusing on Pharma and Food industries. In 1993, he was the Founding Partner of Value Management Group (VMG), a consulting boutique dedicated to knowledge-intensive industries such as ICT. Jesús has been serving as a strategic advisor to European incumbent Telcos for over a decade. His work has always been focused on adapting to and leveraging the fundamental changes that have affected this industry in the past decade, such as the introduction of the first data, mobile and internet services, the transition from monopolies to competitive markets, and international M&A. Since 1995, Jesús has also invested seed capital and supported the creation of a number of start-ups such as Silverwire or VTX. In 1997, he co-founded LeShop, Switzerland’s largest and most successful e-commerce company, which was sold to Migros in 2006. Today, Jesús is the founder of Eclosion, Switzerland’s first seed fund dedicated to life-sciences. Eclosion is an original structure, created in partnership with leading academic institutions and large industrial companies, and supported by an original funding model with both State funding (biotech infrastructure and services) and institutional investors (seed equity investments). After two years of operations, it has a portfolio of five start-ups in early development stages.
Atau Tanaka. Sony CSL Research Manager
Atau is a researcher and artist spanning cultures of media art, research, and industry. He holds degrees from Harvard University and Stanford University's CCRMA, and is renowned for his work in interactive music for over 15 years. His work was seen in performance at MILIA'96, has been used by the Voyager Company, has received the EMMA awards, and is now incorporated into EC funded pervasive gaming projects. He has conducted research at IRCAM in Paris and was Artistic Ambassador of Apple Computer Europe. In Tokyo he has been in residency at NTT/ICC. His work with sensor-based musical instruments and network audio installations has received prizes and support from Ars Electronica, the Fraunhofer Institute, the Japan Foundation, Japanese Telecommunications Ministry, and the Daniel Langlois Foundation. He is researcher at Sony Computer Science Laboratories Paris.
Alan Tawil Kummerman. CEO Silverwire
Alan is the former the chairman of Silverwire Holding Ltd, recently acquired by HP and formerly owner of a group of companies in the maritime and related software fields. He has 30 years of experience in building and growing businesses including the management of companies such as Mac Gregor Services and Peck & Hale, as well as board positions in several companies in the technology sector. Tawil-Kummerman is a co-founding shareholder of IX Europe, a pan-european co-location company quoted on the London Stock Exchange (AIM).
Joe Hurd
Joe is currently the VP, Business Development for VideoEgg, Inc. (www.videoegg.com), an online video sharing, advertising and content distribution company. At VideoEgg, Joe is responsible for all distribution, product, and revenue-generating deals. He is also the Managing Partner of The Katama Group, LLC, where he consults with Web 2.0 consumer-facing internet and mobile content companies on strategy and international business development. Some of his current and past clients include: Tagged, Inc. (social networking), Jookster, Inc. (social search), Renkoo, Inc. (web-based invites) and Mobissimo, Inc. (travel meta-search). Prior to founding Katama, Joe was VP, Business Development and General Manager, International for Friendster, Inc. (www.friendster.com), a leading social networking web site. At Friendster, Joe grew the company’s international revenues from zero to $3 million, added 5 million international users and launched the first mobile SMS/WAP-based social networking application. Earlier in his career, Joe ran business development for AOL (www.aol.com) in Japan and Australia, and worked as a corporate lawyer at a London-based law firm. Joe sits on the advisory boards of a number of mobile content and consumer internet start-up companies.
Alix Taffle
Alix has a strong experience in the business development and marketing of new technologies. Previously, as a marketing group manager at Orange, he was in charge of launching innovative wireless multimedia products over a 20-million customer base. He established many partnerships both with major content and technological providers, developing an expertise in turning technological concepts into viable, commercial products. Prior to that, Alix worked in finance for General Electric. He was selected to join GE’s fast-track Financial Management Program, acquiring solid experience in accounting, financial analysis and valuation techniques. Alix holds an MBA from Insead and a diploma (Finance major) from ESCP, Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
Andreas Schweitzer
Andreas, Swiss national, born 1960, was brought up in Germany, attended LSE and IMD business schools, worked in the UK, the Americas (based in Panama City, Panama) and France. Since 2000 he lives and works in Geneva. Andreas is the Managing Partner of OCEAN AG, Cham, Switzerland, a business accelerator company. Andreas was the Co-founder of various start-up’s and has 15 years of experience in creating his own and in developing/internationalizing other shareholders’ businesses. Prior to that, Andreas worked for the Swiss Private Bank A. Sarasin & Cie. in Switzerland and the UK, as well as for 8 years for the Jacobs-Suchard Group (now Kraft) in various European Countries and The Americas. He is also the Co-founder and CEO of Fritson SA, a food service company and has been awarded as co-inventor a patent in the Food Service sector. Andreas business skills are: identifying and closing deals (in sales, partnering and financing), connecting people, products and businesses; negotiations, high level concept selling. Andreas business experience include: Fund raising for asset managers and start-up companies, creation / promotion of start-up and industrial concepts (high level concept selling), patent development and commercialization; implementation of new business strategies and ideas. Andreas serves on the International Forum Board of the Young President’s Organization (YPO)
Stéphane Favre
Stéphane is co-founder and a Managing Partner of the Anura Group. His responsibilities include the Business Development in Switzerland, France, and the Gulf Council Countries (Kuwait, U.A.E., Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia). Stéphane holds more than 13 years of experience in Management Consulting and dealing with Sr. Executives in the corporate sector as well as with NGO's. Stéphane is a specialist in digital communication and particularly in charge of information management projects involving Intranets, Extranets and the Internet. Previously to Anura, Stéphane was a Sr. Manager at Ernst & Young Switzerland. He is currently in charge of projects and account management with ICRC, Givaudan, Serono, Rolex, UBP and Pictet. Stéphane holds a degree in Political Sciences/International Relations from New York University. He has dual Swiss and French nationality and is fluent in French & English.
Colette Ballou
Colette is the head of Ballou Public Relations, a PR agency based in Paris and specialized in public relations for early and mid-stage technology companies, with a special talent for raising valuations. Colette has had the pleasure to counsel and guide leading European entrepreneurs and their companies: Gilles Babinet, formerly of Musiwave and founder of Eyeka; Mihai Crasneanu of Glowria; Mathieu Nouzareth of Boonty, and now Alex Kummerman of Clicmobile. Being an entrepreneur herself, she is a passionate supporter of the entrepreneurial technology community, whether it be giving counsel to start-ups, sharing resources or simply making connections for entrepreneurs at her firm's monthly social events. An American citizen, Colette is an alumna of some of the the world's leading PR agencies, including Edelman and Hill & Knowlton. Colette has a master’s degree in Ethics/Philosophy from Union Theological Seminary, where she wrote her thesis, Ethics in Public Relations. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and religious studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
